The Ultima has been accepted by Grand Am. Quoting Pistonheads.com: "ULTIMA GTR IN GRAND AM

K&N Engineering (the air filter people) have had their Ultima GT accepted into the US Grand-Am racing series by the Grand American Road Racing Association. The first race will be the Rolex 24 at Daytona."

Bentley will be back at Le Mans but do not expect to be at their best or better until the '03 running of the event because of engine development and personnel issues as well as selecting the drivers.

Wow! The Ultima GTR is going to finally hit the track?! I can't wait to see this... :D

What engine development? It's the unit out of the Audi Le Mans car!

Their big issue is keeping water out of the cabin!

I thought Bentley would be using their own engines this year, and Audi's powerhouse would only be used for the 2001 race...

The Ultima GTR has been racing for a few years in a number of racing series.
