some possibilities for online racing

What ideas do you guys have considering online gaming in GT5
I would like:
- to create your own competitions, so other players can compete in your championship, this way you can start races at certain times, and other players will be able to sign themselves, also you should be able to choose the maximum players and which circuits you will race in the championshop

- Another thing would be to create your own racing team, something like a clan, but a little more serious, and keeping the championship in mind, you will be able to races against other self-formed teams.

This would improve the playing time of all GT fanatics, not that the playing time isn't enough right now, because I play GT all day, even now...

Imagine a whole crue of Nismo's with the same colours but different nismo decals.... cool but to much in the street-racing scene.
but maybe you can work on that...
to make it more for racing

I like the idea of I guess a more street racing atomosphere where people can go online with their favorite unique customized car that probably no one else has and then just size up each other seeing if someone thinks they've got big enough ****s to race your POS lil 240, civic, eclipse, vette, etc. Only to be proved they suck when they can't beat it with their supercar:-)

Racing teams definetly have their place but I think most people are going to want to just get on and have some fun for an hour. Not create elaborate teams and chapionships and registering.

I think it is possible to create a good system for the teams and championships, the only way to get that is creating a simple straight to the point system......how? let me think....

Since there's going to be live online chat, I'm sure that heavy hitters and clever types will have a powwow and work out details of a system that makes everyone happy, then settle on schedules and stuff. And I'm sure that GT Planet would be happy to host boards devoted to the leagues and the chat about results.

This happened fairly quickly in Forza, and we have a few offline racing groups here on the board with Gran Turismo. You can count on this happening fairly soon, like within days of release.
