Some questions about the DFP

Hi everybody,

I'm thinking of buying the DFP but I'm stuck with a question:

Does it have a maze of wires or is it wireless?

'Cause I'm thinking of designing my own desk to place it on but I could have some troubles should it have a maze of wires and cables :ill:

Pink,

It has wires. There's a power supply wire, a USB wire from the PS2 to the head, and a wire from the head to the pedals.

It has 3 cords, one of them a USB, one of them that connects the wheel to the pedals, and one with an AC adapter for force feedback.

Not a maze of wires, just 3: One that goes from the PS2 to the Wheel (USB), one that goes from the Wheel to the Pedals (Serial Port) and one that powers the wheel (2 Prong AC/DC Converter External Power Supply).

;)

Third time's the charm, right?

It's got a power cable that goes to the wheel. A cable that goes from the wheel to the pedals, and another that goes from the wheel to the PS2/PC.

:D

Just a general surgeon's note:

If you have a mesh of wires with any contraption, it might be worth a trip down to your local Radio Shack or other audio hardware store to pick up a package of wire-ties, which allow you to effectively group together large masses of wires and wrap others to more suitable lengths. You can't reuse them, but they're cheap (something like a box of 100 for $2). Personally, I've got a couple on the cables running between my PS2 and sound system, and the DFP's as well (that long USB cable isn't really needed when there's less than a foot's distance between the two devices). A good value, if you're worried about spaghetti.

Its actually quite difficult racing with a DFP because i just got mine today and the force feedback "feeds back A LOT of force".haha.It gets a little getting used to.especially when i dont have a table to mount my wheel on.i have to use my lap.=( im thinking of making a little table that will make my wheel steady so i dont have to put it on my lap.
