Some shots from the local Targa Rally

These are from the Targa Rally about 2 minutes drive from my house.

Holden Torana



Nissan GTR (The first one I ever saw)



Maserati, looked like one of the GT ones used in Europe


It's my dad on the far right with the black hat with yellow writing (and longish hair tied back)

Porsche 911 GT3 RS, I got addicted to this car after looking through the photos and seeing I'd seen a GT3 RS.



I'll upload more on this later, but this is where a silly bugger stopped almost hitting someone's fence as a result of doing doughnuts (Black wooden fence, it's actually a flash fence)



Over at break there's a Shelby Cobra so I took a photo, as anyone would do.



Chrysler Valiant Charger, a cool machine



My favourite sight of the day, a wide-body Renault Alpine A110



Too bad I couldn't zoom in for a better shot

Nice photos. And nice cars. Why I never see cars like those and I never go to some small rally races near my Town. Lucky you. That Shelby photo is great.

Fabmaru, try and get to the events, they're wicked.

Ryou, how could I not enjoy the event, it was awesome, could only get better if I knew how to drive and got to drive the Alpine. Last year I went again, there was a Ford GT, AND A Ferrari F430 Challenge, 3 Nissan GTRs, and more Torana's, but we forgot our camera
