Technically, if the car runs, and it goes forward when you push the gas. Nothing is wrong with it.
I think Fearless Leader (love it, where are Boris and Natasha?) is comparing the state of the GT version to the superior Arcade version, perhaps you have not yet had the pleasure of discovering those differences.
Fearless, I almost always start with full upgrades: nitrous, stage 4, frame stiffener and the complete selection of tires the car is allowed to race with (R1 through R5). I then go to GT Auto and change oil, purchase rims (I don't think the game distinguishes between styles, I prefer the Speedline carbons, but I do think it allows for lower unsprung weight over stock rims) and a wing, even if the car already has aerodynamics. In this case, the wing added 30 units (Polygrams?) to front and rear downforce. I then use the softest tires and run as far through practice at Nürburgring as I think is necessary to get my tune, occasionally, if the car is fun to drive, I run a full lap and post the time for comparative purposes, I consider myself medium to above average in driving skill, but there are few who can match my tuning ability.
6'35.505 is not bad for 540hp and I have to say this is one of the most driveable race cars in GT4 and possibly has THE BEST brakes. In fact, My lap was far from clean, I kept running off
inside the turns. I was actually able to go beyond the last brake marker before pinching the binders. Imagine roaring up to a corner with way too much heat, stomping down the brakes, then being able
to pick my line as the turn suddenly telescoped away from me. Clearly better times are to be had, but I feared ruining my driving style with the snakey little car. Additionally, my settings were marvelously close to what I will call modified default, I sum the spring rates, divide by two and apply that number to front and rear, no further adjustment necessary. In fact the only changes I made from my initial set up were to add a click of rear brake to increase brake steering and bumping up the autoset to take advantage of the incredible high speed stability. All in all, an awsome little sleeper that I will relish racing my friends with. Thank you Fearless Leader for the request, I would never have tried this car otherwise.
