Sometimes pages won't open

Over the past 2 weeks (I don't remember it happening before this) when I'm browsing through the forums on GtPlanet the page I've clicked on won't open past the main GtPlanet banner at the top of the page. This seems to happen randomly regardless of which page I'm trying to view (but only on GtPlanet).

To get to the page I'm trying to view I usually have to go back one page then start again. Not the end of the world I know but annoying all the same.

I'm using a Macbook running 10.4.11 and Firefox version 3.5.7

When the page freezes the message at the bottom left of the browser always says "Read adopsftp.giantrealm.com"

I get this sometimes, too, but my Internet connection is annoyingly spotty, and I had always attributed the loading difficulties to that. Perhaps it's partly the result of relatively high traffic on the site in the wake of CES.

That is strange, I presume you can hit refresh to reload the page and fix the problem too?

Sometimes hitting refresh works, not always, the page sometimes won't get any further than the black banner at the top. It always works if I go back a page and start again.

I'm using my works laptop today and it hasn't happened, I'll try again with the Macbook tonight to see if it does happen again.

Perhaps try not reading while eating sticky foods.
