Do the LCD screens break a lot on these? I broke mine 3 times since I've had it.

LCD on all pocket pcs are vunerable to breakage. The Dell Axim I have heard this happen to a few times, but it hasn't been on the market long enough to say if it is common or not. The Clie, Ipaq and Toshiba's version of that level have that problem, so I would not doubt it if the Dell did too. BTW, what type of environment have you subjected that pocket PC too? that might be a factor here.

well other then riding around in a cold car thats it. I don't drop it or sit on it and its usally with me or on the charger in my room.

the cold air might have an affect on it. Your dealing with an LCD display which is sensitive to those kinda elements. As long as your dealing with it above 40 degrees to 50 degrees it should not be the factor it is breaking. It would be adding to it, but not enough to break 3 in a short period of time I am assuming. I would also invest in screen protectors which I know cost around $19. I sell those things all the time when I sell handhelds.

well its been in some below zero weather for the 15 minute ride to school a few times.

And yes I will be buying a screen protecter now.
