Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P72 Camera

Pretty spiffy. Actually that's strange because I just bought the P10. It has the new Cyber-Shot software and it's 5MP, but it's also $500 ... I got a 256MB memory stick for it as well, two actually, and a spare battery.
The Sony cameras take real nice pictures. I am fortunate that I have access to some REALLY nice printers at work so digital cameras are an easy decision for me. I can spend the extra money and actually make use of the camera's capabilites.
The pictures on my Purple Wall were printed on one of our color laser printers. They look really nice, but not quite photo quality. The cool thing is they print up to 12" x 18" pages, so I can get some pretty good sized images out of them.

I Just bought the Cybershot P52, same as yours but only a x2 optical zoom, and a 128Mb card extra...
its pretty smart, the picture quailty is excellent, almost professional....i am pleased with my purchase..and reccoemend it.

I've just ordered an Olympus C-750UZ. It's 4 megapixels, and has a 10x optical zoom, for 38-380mm equivalent.
I had a play with one at Silverstone (I saw someone with one, and introduced myself, he was only too happy to show off his new toy!), and it's pretty cool.
I should be getting it in a week or so.

The cool thing about the p52 is that it also caputres MPEG movies and sound, up to 2hours on a 64mb stick....so any GT3 replays can be recorded and uploaded to the internet in a matter of minutes with no fuss or fancy capturing equipment...
this is probalbly a feature on most decent digital cameras
