Sound Issue - No sound with 5.1. system

Hi guys,

Today I received my copy of GT6 and upon installing I noticed that I don't have any sound coming through my 5.1 speakers. No intro sound, no menu music, nothing. My JBL surround sound setup is connected via the Digital Optic cable to the PS3.

After setting the sound output of my PS3 back to HDMI I have sound again, through the TV audio output. Can anybody help me or does anybody have tips?

I have the UK version of GT6 in my German PS3. Everything worked last time with the UK version of GT5.

Go to the XMB menu, select audio options, select optical (digital), choose the signal(s) that your system support.
Perhaps you tried to feed your system a signal it couldn't decode.
