Hi, just registered, finally purchased GT5P, but I'm a long time GT fan!

Sorry if this idea has been thought of before, but I think it would be awesome to be able to customize the soundtrack for our upcoming GT5.

The idea is to be able purchase and download your favorite driving songs for use during the game. It could be similar to iTunes, just call it GTTunes. I'd pay 99cents a song to hear MY favorites during gameplay. It seems possible to me, but I'm brand new to PS3.

your thoughts?

Why pay for songs you probably already own on CD or downloaded just to listen to them in game. It'd be a pretty big "we want your money suckers" move. The PS3 already has a feature where you can import your music onto the console. The console already has the ability to allow you to play your imported music while performaing other tasks including playing a game. However it is upto the game producter to allow this feature to be activated for thier game on a game to game basis. So some games will use the feature, others don't. It's relatively new so most of the games currently don't support it but the feature is there and will be used more as newer games are released.

What you are suggesting is possible, very possible. However it would show a complete lack of respect for the punters (ie you and me) when a free freature is available to be used if wanted. And at the same time, the XB360 has offered custom playlists to be imported to the console and played during gameplay free to use since it came out.

More and more PS3 games have options to play you're own music. So I think GT5 Will come with 50+ songs which most of them will be good. And I bet they will have the feature to play you're own tunes, so yeah Customizable music should be there. I don't see any reason why PD would not do this.

And what person above me Stated.. I bet everyone will state the smae :)
