Souping up my Miata MX-5 LS

The Question is more of, is it worht it?  To spend the 47K on the super soft tires and 70k for the NA Stage 3?  And all the other misscenalous tune ups?

It seems worth it, and once you race some enduros, you can win the money back instantly.  Personally I think it is worth it, just for the fact of getting more money from it.
