Right now I'm not able to download anything since I have a speed of only 2Megs, and with a new PS3, I'm in GT5 version 1.0... It would take me like 20 hours to download everything again. It's more convinient to spend on a new disc that has everything, and always will have no matter what.

I downloaded everything in a 2 Mbps connection. Took me ages. I feel your pain, trust me.

One good tactic was leaving it downloading overnight, and during the day, when I was working, and then overnight again... Oh well...

The X cars are absolutely realistic in the engine, chassis, and aero depts. The problem is current tire technology and the human body.

The X cars are technologically possible to make, but they aren't humanly possible to drive.

How does that make any sense? First there's no proof it's going to be ONLY available in Japan. Second it's just got all the previous data updates in the disc. So it doesn't in anyway show evidence that there won't be more updates. Infact the first thing they'll probably have to do is update to 2.01. Really no difference except a disc with all the updates on there so you don't have to go through all the 1.00 updates. How did this give you the impression there would be no more updates?
