Spec Miata

How about an all Miata race? Any type, maybe two groups such as NA cars only and another Turbo group?

Sounds like it might be interesting.
GT2 or GT3?
What track(s)?
What parameters for the cars?

It's my first attempt at this, I thought I'd just throw out an idea... but let's try:

-gt3
-only Miata/MX-5
-no "race mod" ie. "warpaint" (not sure if there are any LM "prize only" models out there so I just want to make it clear the cars should only wear dealer paint
-any mod desired for the rest (tranny, brakes, engine etc.)
-no hybrids, no gameshark mods etc.
-the tracks should be decided by the competitors
-2 separate classes, one NA, the other, Turbo... you could compete in either one or both

best thing of all:
since there's a real Spec Miata series out there and it's accessible, there are plenty of websites with setups and shops who build them and reccomend settings, would be interesting to see what's the quickest one

I managed a 1'45.5 with a naturally aspirated 330hp Mazda MX-5 1.8i on Tokyo Route 246. I think i can get a bit better than this but its gonna take me some time,

I ran Tokyo R246 with my Miata, 872kg. 371HP, Super soft tires,
I ran 1:42.629. Near some of the times I ran in a 330 HP RX-7.
