Go into a free run on any track, (a free run that costs 5cr :grumpy: ) go into the rankings and press start on any of the times, and it will come up with an orange box with Special Code written in it, with millions of strange numbers and letters, I was wondering what they are, and if anyone else gets them, thanks.

Seen that before and with a couple of research, found this:

Yeah I was surprised to learn that GT3 had them, too. The answer is simple - it's a verification code that can for example be used to enter the time into an online database or competition.

Though I don't know how does it work actually...

I'm guessing you've used the test courses pretty often, the code can be found when you select the ranking icon (white-box) then follow step 1. below.

It can also be found in any of the practice modes (rankin-icon) for World, City, Dirt and Original track sections, only if you've used them though, for some practice or time trial of some sort.

Edit:

1. Arrow down to any car in the ranking, then depress the start button. A rectangular box will appear with the code. Now unless you are familiar with the code, don't change it, or it will mess up your data.

The family cups don't count.
