Special Licence; worth obtaining or not?

Today, I managed to obtain my special licence, and for each section I earned 10 - 15,000 credits apiece, and a couple of cars. OK, the cars were quite tasty, but, after re - entering 'World Circuits', I noticed that every single race available hadn't changed. There weren't any new races available, and no opportunities to earn bigger. I have to say that I am disappointed. There are elements of the game that aren't quite up to scratch. The cars aren't anywhere near as comprehensive as GT6, and it's terribly mundane to have to grind out races for very little reward. I have been a fan of GT for the whole generation, and was looking forward to GT7 coming out. But now, I can't help thinking that it has become too mannered and reverent.
Let's make it fun to play please PD. It's not got an 18 certification.

I think PD is planning on releasing future events for GR.1 & GR.2 for extreme events & endurace races that might require the use of the special license, just a guess.

Your question here is kinda open ended :), of course it's worth it if you want all the cars, or if you want the achievements, the feeling you get from getting gold in all events, etc. If you're asking if it's worth it when thinking about progression in the 'campaign' then probably(? - haven't finished all of the cafe missions myself) not at the moment, but something may be added in the near future.

To unlock more locations and events you should be focusing on the cafe menus, not licences.

Agree with your post tho.

Thats the issue, finishing the cafe does not unlock high level races that warrant getting a special license.
