X what?
As the topic title suggests, I think it would fantastic if PD were to implement the old and new racecars from the BTCC like we had in GT2. Personally, I'd love to race the Rapidfit Mondeo '00 against its rivals (imo the best season of BTCC becuase Ford won the championship that season :sly:). We'd get some very close racing in online modes aswell I think. It would be even more epic if we had some more British tracks to test them on, i.e. Brands hatch Indy/GP, Silverstone and Castle Combe.

Also, I think it would be great if GT5 brought in some more performance saloons. Cars like the Vauxhall/Opel Vectra VXR/OPC, Mazda 6 MPS, Ford Mondeo ST220, BMW 330i M-sport, Audi A4 3.2i Quattro etc. I'd like to see these cars race against the new crop of hot hatches and there bigger rivals like the RS4 Quattro and E90 M3.

Opinions?

First wasn't there some licensing issue with the BTCC? Something tells me its exclusive to another publisher.

Second, a lot of the performance saloons are predicted/guaranteed to be in GT5, and if you wanted to add the the wishlist, i think its on the first page.

I'm all for it. Hopefully, if there is a licensing issue, we can race mod and paint up our own BTCC cars ourselves.

As far as I am aware, nobody holds the licence anymore. It was held by Codemasters, who published the TOCA games, which later became Race Driver, which then became GRID. The BTCC licence must have expired or been terminated, as the series and the cars are not in the later games and I don't think anyone else has picked it up. If that is the case, licensing shouldn't be an issue, apart from the money of course.

Toca sure was fun that's for sure. Seeing tracks like Silverstone and Brands Hatch would be very cool also i think they are some of the best tracks in the world.
