Speed 12 vs Veyron

I've been looking through the thread's and it's come to my attention that some people think a speed 12 will beat a veyron, why are people thinking this? Well because they can't tune a veyron properly basically. Lets have look at the stat's shall we?.

The speed 12- 1027hp with around 1000kg of weight, RWD. very slow off the mark with great acceleration upto about the top speed of 394kph or 244mph (no draft) in the tunnel.

The veyron-1256hp with the weight of around 1400kg. AWD. Very very fast acceleration and launch with the top speed in the tunnel of around 334kph or 270mph (no draft).

So as You can see in the tunnel the veyron is king. For indy its pretty much the same, the speed 12 can not match the sheer power of the veyron's AWD drive-train with the torque split of 50/50, it's to much for the speed 12. So in conclusion the veyron has more power more acceleration more top speed and it's AWD, the only way a speed 12 will beat a veyron is if.....well.....the speed 12 had AWD.

They think it will win because of p/w ratio. Though if GT5 would allow the traction of a proper take of, the veyron would lose to many cars. Though the GT5 physics doesn't allow such making the veyron the winner. Sad though. So many cars would stomp the veyron though the physics doesn't allow such.

@D24, Veyron wins everytime hands down. Also, which is longer, La Sarthe straight or SSR7 tunnel? Cause I can hit 285 no draft at La Sarthe but I've never tried the tunnel so I'm figuring I should be right up in there.

I know that was a typo but I just had to point it out to you my fellow boss monkey. 👍 As d2 is saying, the Veyron gets 434km/h (269mph or 270mph if you've just touched 434 or it's a strong 434) in the tunnel, not 334km/h.

The only way that a Speed 12 will have a possibility of beating the Veyron in these circumstances is if both things occur:
a) The Speed 12 has been tuned to pull a wheelie.
b) The Veyron is completely stock.

Even a Veyron with just all the engine parts & driveline parts on the car with a stock gearbox and fully customisable suspension on default will get around 415-420km/h (256-260mph) out of the tunnel which is more than enough to despatch the Speed 12.

Get one Speed 12 tune it's suspension rear slammed/front raised, stiff front/soft rear, minimum downforce on front, maximum on rear. Take to SSR7, get to 200mph+, watch front end lift. 👍

It really depends on the tune they both are really fast cars but if the speed 12 has a better tune than the buggati then the speed 12 should win

I've seen a Samabus beat an Enzo, doesn't mean that it should, but I witnessed it happen. Same with Speed 12 and Veyron, if both had great tunes, it would still be a mis-match.
