speed channel WRC petition

There is a petition trying to get speed channel not to drop their weekly WRC coverage. Apparantly they will only be showing a short weekly highlight show.

I saw this posted somewhere else and figure there would be MANY people here willing to sign it. I dont consider it spam because I dont get payed a thing and it is for a good cause that is WRC related.

If you add a comment please make it sensible. Dont take cheapshots about them turning into NASCRAP TV, because it will just make you look like a child.

i dont know what the speedvision were thinking of when they sold the channel to fox. there has been nothing but unhappy people since and I predicted it all. Sadly I am going to get speedtv hooked up on cable soon, because its the only channel of its kind.

Why didnt fox start their own channel if they want to make nascar tv!!!!!

This petition is to discourage SPEED Channel from cutting back on World Rally coverage. We enjoyed same day coverage this past season, and now SPEED Channel will delay their coverage by a week.

Is a 'delay' the same as 'cutting back'? I'm a WRC fan who can't stand ASSCAR, but it won't kill me to wait a week. The petition seems to be demanding same day coverage, not discouraging any specific cutback... I didn't sign it.

yay... nascar is alright, a lil boring, i prefer rallying as far as racing goes i think they should use un-race moded cars with enhancements and race them on tracks like rallying only on paved surfaces, like on the country side or something

i watched the rocky mountain nationals the other day, really entertaining to watch that french team screw up at every corner, then watching them fly off course, through trees and drive throgh more trees to get back on track. I was disappointed tho cuse they were supposed to show the next race in merrit bc which is about an hour and a half away from where i live.
