Introduction

Well I got my copy today, and have been snapping away in Photomode. I'll have more coming over the next couple of days (and I have some more from today that sadly didn't transfer onto my USB stick). Anyway, enjoy! I'll expand this post when I have a bit more time, for those who don't know I used to be a part of a GT4 Photomode Community and I'm a avid real life photographer (link is the signature) so I do know my stuff. I suppose.

This first update simply consists of some shots from various events I've done so far, with my beloved Miata and some stuff from Arcade Mode. Not much Photoshop work has gone on these as I didn't feel it was entirely neccessarily, I'm only just getting used to Photomode again at the moment anyway. I'll try and keep this updated regularly.

#'s 4 & 5 are favorites of mine--I'll be checking this gallery quite a bit from now on. #4 shows off great detail and the iconic title, while #5 has great motion. You've done a good job of getting used to the new Photo Mode.

#5's vignetting is wondrous--it makes the scene look like a set of miniatures.

Is all that speed blur from in game? I tried a couple of shots and did not get much more than the speed smudge we used to have in GT4. For example your shot #2 from Toscana, if that's in game blur then we'll have so much more freedom to compose our shots!

There are 3 types of blur for track shots, the first is the same as GT4, the 2nd is what was used in the Toscana photo you mentioned (at least i think that's what he used), and the 3rd i haven't tried yet!

I'll comment on the photos properly later when I can see them on my full size screen, they look good on my phone though!

Haha it does, mainly because I used the miniature filter on photomode.

Cheers, all the blur is in-game I don't have the same Photoshop skills I used to have sadly. Anyway, in the game there's 3 different panning shot modes the first is for like, normal panning shots, the second is for rig shots and creates the kind of blur found in #2 of the C4 set and finally #3 is essentially a curve blur (there's one used in this set). Been really impressed with the in-game blur so far.

JGTC

For this update I've gone all JGTC. Again, same situation as the C4 WRC these aren't my cars in career mode (I'm not really far enough into it) and all the photo's have been taken in Arcade Mode. The two tracks featured in this update are SSR7 (I know...typical) and also Laguna Seca which hasn't been shown that much so far. The only thing done to these photo's is a quick curves adjustment in Photoshop and that's pretty much it.
