Lovely not to have to rely on whispers and google translations isn't it. Lol.

I was also impressed at how tolerant he was of some of the self-entitled wankers' insults, and gave very polite answers. I would have had more trouble!

Contrast this, as well, with the almost CIA-like silence and total absence of any developer/user dialog from PD.

Yeah, me too.

What do you reckon he had to rewrite a few times? If it was me, I'd have been so tempted to write sarcastic responses to some of those.

Seeing how GT5 turned out I don't blame them! :D
Hell, GT5 doesn't even simulate tire pressure and the fact there are 6 different tire compounds (with some having a completely arcade behavior) I think that not even the "physics" are that good since they don't have a good tire model! They are just a rough approximation (and not a physical simulation) that sometimes feels right, other times fails miserably and most cars (especially non-japanese and non-german cars) handle very bad while some cars (like the VW Bus :yuck:) don't experience any body-roll! How realistic is that? 👎

But on topic, I like how the Shift 2 devs answer to questions and are very confident on their creation. Shift 1 in my opinion is already by far the best realistic-racing-game on consoles (admittedly with some flaws but once you tweak the handling to your liking it is an incredibly addictive and realistic experience). Shift 2 look like it will correct the bugs and build and improve on Shift 1! :D

Shift was an obsession! I played it every day when I could, all day when I could. Got fairly decent (a few Top 30 lap times), had some good Friends online.

GT5, I can barely play once a week. Looks great, drives great, bores me to tears..!

I am looking forward to being obsessed again  :)

I like the fact that our own member Speedster502 was the first person to be answered in the FAQ! 👍
But yeah, can't wait to try this game out. Looks to be more fun that GT5 to be honest...
