My first time with a steering wheel so please be gentle - I may just be a big fat newbie dumba**....
I purchased 2 Speedster 3 Force Shock steering wheels and pedal sets yesterday primarily to play Gran Turismo 4.
The first problem that appeared was from a standing start I revved the car ok waiting for the start to come and then expecting to fly off the line but just sat revving the motor. It said I was in first gear!. So i thought it may have been the handbrake locked? - So next tried a rolling start and that seemed to work ok i.e. accelerated the car moved forward. However it would never really get up to any speed and handling in the corners was difficult. - Again possibly the handbrake locked on?
Finally after switching it off and reconnecting the power the steering wheel turned to the right and locked at full lock.
Please can you shed some light on this, the same thing happened on both of the new wheels which would suggest it is something I am doing wrong and not the wheels them self. Incidentally I tried clicking the handbrake button and the light on the screen would flash on as I pressed it but didn't unlock (if that is the problem) the handbrake.
I bought these for my son and I and he is devastated they don't work so an answer would be much appreciated.
