Well, I just saw Spider Man: The movie, and am very pleased with the result. As a former avid reader of Spider Man Comic books (Amongst others) I was pleased with how true to the source material they stayed (Most Comic book to movies get a royal butchering). Lot's of things received the usual movie "Tweaks" but nothing I couldn't survive.
As for the movie itself, I thought it was pretty darn good. I actually had started to get discouraged by all of the hype (Usually this means that the movie stinks, and they want to make money before word of mouth kills sales) Tobey Mcguire was perfect in the Title role, and Kirsten Dunst was looking quite good as well
Look for some Cameos as well by the Macho man Randy Savage, Bruce Campbell and Stan Lee. (Two points for the first person that can tell me where Stan Lee pops up)
While it's not the type of movie I would go to see multiple times in the theatre, It's a definite must see, and an encouraging start for this season of summer Blockbusters.
And to top it all off, they had the trailer for Marvel Comic's next film.... "The Hulk."
