Spoon or Mugen S2000?

which one of the 2 is better?, i am doing the type R race again in am. mode and i think i want the spoon s2000, but is the mugen one even close to the performance of the spoon. i think i will go with spoon since the spoon civic was so nice.

My opinion is that they are about 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other. The Spoon comes with more right out of the pipe and if I recall correctly, fully decked, has a bit more HP. (Trying to remember anymore is tougher and tougher ) Either one is a competitive ride with something under being fully tricked in several races (particularly the roadster pro) so the top end HP doesn't really matter.

I personally think the Mugen sounds better if that kind of thing matters to you. Must be that carbon fiber hood.

If I were you, I would race the series twice and get both... then decide. Mugen in Red... Spoon in Black 👍

By the way, I just found out last night it is pronounced "Moogan" and all this time I've been saying "Myewgan". Will wonders never cease. Founder of the company somehow related to Honda... like as in a son or something. Forgot that too.

I'd do what phattboy said. Do it again, earn some extra credits and get an extra car. Just use the Save & Reload trick.

yeah, i am doing it again, i kept the spoon s2000 this time around but i will get the mugen one next, my spoon is black by the way. this gives me the opportunity to use my spoon civic alot too, which i also love.

Yeah... Spoon Civic 👍 the Screamin' Mimi Took me awhile to warm up to it after I first got it. This time through the game I'm using it a lot more.

same here. the first time through the game i didnt use the spoon civic or s2000 at all. i basically used f1 cars. thats boring now though i use a wide variety of cars so i dont get sick of the game, alot of the cars will suprise you by being really quick after trying them out exp. spoon civic. i am starting to like NA cars better now for some reason. weird

Spoon S2000

The spoon in fully modified form carries more power and a slightly better pwr.

However, in fully modified form the mugen is an excellent car.

I like the mugen personally.

Both are excellent. Fully modded Spoon is just a bit faster.

yeah i used them both in the pro spider/roadster cup and i beat grand valley and cote de azur with the mugen and then i beat the other with the spoon. it was fun.

Fully modded Spoon has indeed more power than the Mugen (444 to 380). I had tried both of them a few weeks ago, and in fact the differences on the track (Deep Forest) were not that obvious. Finding a proper set-up for the race can make a much bigger difference, I think, than choosing one car or the other.

Of course, but that was not in the initial choice. The LM Race Car is the best S2000, while the Spoon S2000 Race Car (blue and yellow) is a piece of s**t.

I have to dissagree there, the Spoon S2000 race car is probably the best handling car in the entire game and can give more powerfull cars a good run for their money.

Spoon can worry about the looks of the cars (Mugen's shortcoming), and Mugen can use their technical superiority with the motors.

If you run similar HP you will find little difference. Both are reasonably fast, decent looking, and handle well. You will likely find my write-ups and comparisons in the same search.
