hey guys , i was running this through in my head and should be interesting , a spot race for anyone at any time agreed , and 1 person picks the course and the other picks the car , not bad eh !!
so for example if somebody wanted a quick race with me or somebody else ! then they just suggest it here and wait for a reply and when you get the reply , you decide on car and track and get straight on it no practice no nothing , then 1st finished submits there time back on the thread with sectors and laps ! easy ;) :D :cool:
just make sure you have your ps2 at the ready when you post :eek: :D

so who wants a quick race then ?? :P :P
 
That is alright Mr P. I really don't feel liked getting killed right now. I might take you on later though. Even though I will lose I still want to race somebody as good as yourself. :)

no probs man , it is a good idea all the same , and hope it catches on , by the way all cars should be from the arcade s class garage to be fair on others who might not be good with settings !! ;) :cool:

Thank you for enforcing this new rule. I am horrible with settings. That is probably why I am so behind all of you. I will race you Mr P before the week is up and you can take that to the bank! :fdevil:

Only one problem with your "Spot Race" concept. I post at work and race at home. I can't do both at the same time! So we could agree on a track and a car one day and post splits lap times the next!

What do ya reckon?? :confused: :cool:

you'll beat me that way better with no practice what so ever , or it stops becoming a spot race and just becomes a normal challenge :eek: :eek: , you know you'll win with a few runs were i'll win with 1 :D :D :cool: get a pc in your house gvx , treat yourself for xmas :eek: ;) :cool:

Yeah that sounds like the easiest way of doing things! :eek: I'll just pop out at lunch and spend a £1000 on a PC shall I :lol: You gone crazy man:weird:

I knew there was a method to your madness:lol: How about a 5-player live linkup?? :eek: :eek: :D Yep I've got a firewire hub for GT3 and it's the dog's bollox awsome!! :cool:

5 people racing each other is the best :cool:
 
Not to butt in, all, but Jazza has a pretty good race series going on right now in another thread. Participation is a bit low right now, but I think it'd be well worth your time, nonetheless!
Oh yeah, it IS for GT2, but....

What you need to enter is a

A 6-wire to 4-wire fire wire cable.
A PS2
A Copy of GT3
A Television
A way of getting your a$$ and all your stuff to a meeting point were we hook all this sh[t together and get down to some seriously good fun racing!! :eek:

We need a venue with plenty of room and power sockets. Basically your gonna have 5 guys in the same room all with there PS2's and TV's all linked up to my hub going mad on 5-player linkup!! :cool:

Do you think Wity would be intertested??

I think Welformed would be a starter aswell if you don't have any objections!

We'll see what response if any we get! :cool:
 
i vaguely remember wellformed from gt3 times being interested in a meeting like this , he may want to participate in this , may be worth posting over there for interested parties ;) :cool:
 
sorry man never saw that last post until afterwards , anyway as soon as wity comes on line i get a message on my msn so i will ask him then ;)

by thje way are we allowed a couple of spectators with us , i know my missus and my work mate will be begging to come and watch this :confused: :D
