hell no!
Just starting to get into Touge racing and am looking to join a club/league!
Need a good tune for my Trueno as I love the feel of it but just can't get it right on Sports: Hards (which seem to be regulation for most club/leagues that run Touge).
Any help is much apreciated.
Also looking for the SS model or even another of the same model I have to experiment on, so if you have one you've used already for Touge races I'll definitely do a trade.
Also if your in a club/league that runs these events or even just want to practice/teach me the ropes on it add me up and I'd be happy to race alongside you for a good session. I'll be on all night working on my technique.
Thanks again for any help available.

PS: Also running it with ABS and all other aids completely off. Just an FYI.
Also need it to be 450 PP Tuned! Sorry I forgot to mention that. Right now I'm pulling back on the power limiter to keep it there. And it has to be a 6 Speed Transmission (the upgrade). The club/league I'm most interested in does not allow FC Transmissions. Thanks thats all of it!! :)

Hi, nice to meet you, glad to see another racer getting into the touge scene. Erm if you send me a FR Im always racing on the touge and can help you with anything you need. Have you checked out the touge One Stop Shop, and TimberW's Legend of the Streets, there is a link to both of them in my garage thread(link is in my sig).

If you havent check out my garage yet I do alot of touge setups from 450-500pp on sports hard tires, and I also do requests for cars too.

Top Performance Tuning

Corolla Levin GT-Apex (AE86) '83 (TO)

Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex '83 (TO)

Theres a link to my garage and two hachi-rocku tunes. They were tuned using ABS-1 so not suure how they be with ABS off, they were also tuned using a DS3 pad, not a wheel.
Let me know if you like them.

PS. next time im on my ps3 i'll see if I have another SS version AE86

Great to hear from you man, I actually have your tune already rolling on my Sprinter. I'm trying my damndest to get ahold of the SS model and try and focus myself on that. Once again great to hear from someone interested in whats really gotten me back into this game again (and also my rewatching of Initial D lol nerd alert) and if you got space I'll throw a fr your way on PSN. I'm using a controller atm myself, I have the DFGT but I dont have a good stable setup for it right now so I'm back on the pad which honestly I always did better on. But yeah thank you for the response I'll do like I said and add you on PSN any help and any practice I can get with someone else interested in this racestyle as me the better!

The SS model may not be much faster...

The normal Trueno can make the same power with a lot more twist and a lot better of delivery; the SS is also only a 5-speed which means you're kinda stuck with wide ratios or a 1st gear too long for it to actually accelerate until about 30mph.

I'm starting to get interested in Touge as well. Shame your in the states as it would be good to hook up with someone and learn the ropes together. As I'm int eh UK there is very little chance we'd be able to get online together.

Hell I work from home and have the worst sleep schedule you could ever imagine. Its 4am now and I'm just up watching some shows and browsing guides/tunes lol.
Send me a FR anytime dude, it'd be great to have some people to learn off of and learn with! :D

There are plenty of us with a bit too much time and buggered sleep schedules.

Same here.

I'm sat at my desk at work, midday.

Being a family man my hours of gaming are pretty fixed to a couple of hours a night normally 10pm till around midnight UK time. I think that's early evening for you guys on the east coast.

Yeah just got my hands on the SS model and I love how I can go past 125mph (which is all you get from the 6 speed box in the Sprinter) and I love the gearbox in general but for some reason maybe I'm just too used to my Sprinter, but it feels clunkier. :(

Gonna drop my weight on the Sprinter down to around the SS's and drop the power output and maybe just stick with that.

Also the no paint job thing made me super disappoint. :guilty:

New Touge Grip setup at 440pp on Sports Hard Tires, see what you think.

Gonna give it a try in a little bit, the crazy front to rear difference in ride height is scaring me a little but I'm gonna give it a go in a little bit. I've actually been reading up on Scaff's gt4 guide and doing some custom tuning to my ride and its turned out pretty damn good. So I'm def gonna give yours a whirl but post up how mine is as well. Be back soon with it! :)
