SR Down? This is a Problem

He’s either tactically a great driver, as his timing is precise for him to land me into the dead end. Or, I’ll also be generous and say maybe he just didn’t see me...

But for my SR to take a hit.

What’s that!?

Don't focus on single events. The system will never get to be good enough to discriminate well on every event. Just focus on driving cleanly so you are involved in less events than the average person regardless of who the system will blame. Eventually you will get to a rank group where this doesn't happen.

I feel you. The same thing happened to me the other day. It's good the system still penalized the other guy, but you definitely should have not gotten penalized in that instance. The system seems to wrongfully penalize the victim rather than the culprit in side impact collisions. PD definitely needs to fix the SR/Penalty system.

I had a punter in a race last night (B/B). One change of line on a straight to defend is considered acceptable, right? I did that on the start finish straight at Maggiore, drifted into the middle of the track and successfully kept this guy behind me. At the first tight corner he just whacked me straight into the wall without even attempting the turn. I guess it was retaliation.

When I watched the replay I saw him doing it to several other drivers as well. He advanced in positions and was not given any penalties post race. It's quite hard to scrub them off at Maggiore so I guess he found a loophole. Annoyingggggg.

Yes defending is fine, as frustrating as it is, as long as you are not one of those people that move to defend and then move back on line either in or just before the braking zone, like so many do and then wonder why they get hit.

There are definitely ways to hit people to pass them and not get penalties too, some people probably do exploit this. Others just take advantage of getting away with contact and believe what they did was fair as the game classified it as such, without actually intentionally making contact.

To be fair the way he was wiggling about his connection was clearly terrible and he had no idea you were there as on his screen you probably weren't lol.
I don't think he was being dirty, it looked like he was just either really bad or had a really bad connection.
If it was intended that's about as dirty as it gets.
