SSRX testing vs Online at say Indy

Let use my Lemans R8 (broken in)for example. I dialed in my launch so that I have no wheel spin and I can bounce the RPMs off the rev limiter. When I go online, I was getting wheel spin thru my entire 1st gear. I'm in 2nd for just a solo second and gain all my traction in 3rd.

I never noticed this. Finally got my LeMans R8 down to 9.00X (fast to me maybe not to you). But last night I was losing by at least 1 car length to two others running the Lemans. I would lose the whole shot and would stay dead even thru the 1/4 mile.

This difference doesn't happen with my RS6 08' which I've been able to dial in at 9.14X (not broken in).

Quick shift the R8 you should get less wheel spin. And an RS6 not broken in will never do a 9.1 bro sorry. Your basically saying that wagon can keep up with the LP 670, R8 5.2, SLR ect...

Busted, LOL... I just looked in my history and yeah my Avant is 9.288. Between the two I run nearly the same tune so my mistake on the et.

When you say "quick shift" do you mean not waiting till I hit the rev limiter? The wheel spin off the line happens as sol. As I dump the ebrake. I'm trying to dial it in now at SSRX and with the same setup I'm getting no wheel spin.

SSRX And Indy are totally different. Usually its recommended for some cars to have separate tunes for each track. But yeah right before it hits rev limiter shift it to 2nd and you should see a pretty big difference in your 0-60 and 0-100.

Thanks Karo... i just went in and went to my "C" tune. I was running her with my "B" tune and didn't realize it till I opened the settings sheet page, geeus!!! My fault.

BTW... The tune I use basically skips 2nd because the gearing is so close to 1st. Is that called "double clutching"?

Why would you skip 2nd? Space it out a bit but not too much and having it too close isnt good. While your shifting 1,2,3 the car next to you is pulling in 2nd so by the time you know it hes ahead and you lost lol

Just left the house but I'll try that in about 20 mins. I think there was a reason I have to skip though. I think it was because I cannot bring the numbers on 2nd gear down any further but I'll have to confirm that. If that's then I gotta start from nearly scratch. My GTR black is the same way, SMH
