How does the standard differential work, if you don't purchase the LSD? Is it always locked? Does it vary by car? Are the Initial, Accel, & Decel settings locked on a standard value, depending on the car?

Some cars have automatically adjusting LSD and most have fixed or locked settings. Some cars have locked. Yes. See answer one.

When you install an adjustable LSD on a car you can then reinstall the stock LSD and the go into the adjustment menu to view the stock LSD settings.
