Excuse me create a thread just for this, but I searched like crazy on the internet for the song that plays in the "Start Your Engines Trailer" which was released yesterday / today. Nothing in Shazam or SoundHound too... Does anyone know the name of the song? Thanks! :-)

I've looked for the song myself, but to no avail either.

Perhaps we'll find out when the game itself comes out. They might use it in the game's music library.

I Shazamed it and nothing. Someone suggested it might be a newly released Daiki Kasho song exclusively for the game. If that's the case, it will probably be in GT6. We'll have to wait until then.

Does anyone recognize the vocalist, though? 'Cause its definitely not Jon Underdown who usually is Kasho's main vocalist on his songs.

Also, lyrics?

The vocalist sounds like those generic boy pop rock bands like My Chemical Romance and all that similar crap. Still, the song is not bad at all. It would work well for an intro if it was a bit longer and more elaborate.

I would give it a few weeks. Someone will eventually know.

We have two new songs not confirmed..

He sounds pretty similar to the Vision GT trailer singer. Try soundhounding/shazaming that song and see if anything pops up.

The vocalist is most likely Jonathan Underdown, the same one from the GT5: Prologue main song, SURV!V3.

EDIT: Listening a bit more, there is a bit of a difference.

Whoever it is, it sounds very familiar. And i find it ironic he's singing, "I can't get you out of my head." and i can't get this game out of my head. Perfect. Good job PD.

Jon is the one on the Vision GT trailer. That's definitely him. But unless he changed his vocal style all of a sudden, the vocalist sounds completely different in the latest trailer.

Care to post the lyrics for us? =)

Some people have uploaded the sound clip on YouTube titled 'Daiki Kasho - I'm looking for you now'. That probably isn't the official song title, but it is definitely a song made exclusively for GT6.

Care to post the lyrics for us? =)

Five in the morning
Ghost of you
Still lingers in my room
But you're nowhere to be found

And I can't get you out of my head
Forget what I have now
Memories of what made us two
I can't get you out of my head
Won't break what we both have
Illusions of the past

I'm looking for you now
I'm looking for you now
I'm looking for you now
I'm looking for you now
And I'm looking for
And I'm looking for (And I'm looking for you now)

And I can't get you out of my head
Forget what I have now
Memories of what made us two
I can't get you out of my head
Won't break what we both have
Illusions of the past

I'm looking for you now
I'm looking for you now
I'm looking for you now
I'm looking for you now
And I'm looking for

I really think the trailer song is from Daiki Kasho.
In my opinion, since GT5p the best songs are always from Daiki Kasho.

no offence to you my good sir but those lyrics look to be written by a class of 4th graders... I turned the music off.

Ummm, these lyrics would make more sense.

for the first verse.

The singer from the Vision GT trailer is Jon Underdown. The singer from the latest trailer I don't really know who it is. It could be Jon Underdown again, but it's probably unlikely that it's him.

Eh, they're not bad by my standards. It looks like he's trying to find a lost friend or relative, at least, if not a love song. And the way he sings the chorus is pretty addicting to listen to.

Its definitely not Jon in the latest trailer. We don't even know if its Daiki Kasho composing the song or not, even. It might be a song featured in some band's future album, as was the case with My Chemical Romance and GT5.

If I had to guess who it is, though, it might be Story of the Year, 'cause that's who it sounds like to me.

If this is indeed the opening song, well, it sure is a lot better than MCR. But it definitely doesn't top Spec 2.0's "5OUL ON D!SPLAY" remix. That's Daiki Kasho's best song right there, IMO.

sounds bout right

Sounds too dopey for an intro.
Lyrics are nothing new and boring. Singer seems to me that he is dying :)
Still better than GT5's first version intro with My Chemical Balance - they even made an entirely new intro!
I recommend using another song for intro. More alive song please.

I still don't get all the hate for the MCR's song in the GT5 intro. Its wasn't "Emo" as people claimed it would be and honestly, I didn't think it was bad.

To be honest I think it was A song about Granturismo 5's reappearance in the gaming world XD

Yeah I am with you on that. But having the eclectic tastes in music I have it does not surprise me in the slightest there was hating going on (I'm not even that big of an MCR fan anyways)
