Starting GT4 from scratch today :)

I'm actually pretty excited with this. I'm fed up playing the GT5 time trial demo and GT5P so dusted off my ps2 and put in GT4 - gonna use a wheel this time too

It's amazing how much graphics have come on but they are still acceptable I guess. Only thing is I'm playing on a HDTV so it looks kind of smudgy compared to a standard TV.

Has anyone else started this game recently and if so has anyone gone all the way? - or do you just run out of patience after a while? I checked my old save and I only made it to 68.4% back in the day.

I was kind of shocked at how bad it looked now lol......... i played for around 10 mins max...... I'm also done with the gtd and close to being done with gtp....... i thought i was pretty good at gt all these these years until i played the gt5d lol

I got tired of the new demo and I traded in GT5P a few months ago when I thought the full game would be out. It's always fun starting from scratch on GT3/GT4 but I havent done so recently and I dont have 1 or 2. I dont have much completion on 3 but I have 99.8 on 4. (I just cant beat the last one lap magic driving mission with the SLR) And it is sometimes sad to go back and play PS2 games you thought looked great at the time and then realize that they really dont. But thats not too bad with GT4.

Just a couple months ago i got 100% in GT4 in my 2nd play through because of the mission bug cept me form getting to 100% on the first one evin though i had finished all the races.

On my HDTV i think it look's as good as it could with the output set at 16:9 and using component cables (Red,Green,and Blue connectors not the single yellow one) the Progressive scan makes it look to sharp

Right now i play it mainly for the Nurburgring but if i did play through again it would be fun to use cars i have not tried yet

I do play GT5P at some point every week with in the WRS

I ordered a used PS2 and a used copy of GT4 to fill my gaming time until GT5. I can't wait to play it again. Well last time I played GT4, it was 4 years ago so a bit of flashback for me.

It's amazing there's people saying they've gone back to GT4 and are implying the graphics are shoddy! Geez, you guys should try going back to GT1 or 2, then!

I started GT4 on the 24th, damn its addictive. I've done about 10% so far I've just been messing around in the Amuse S2000 road car.

Replaying for a little bit now and almost 7% complete. GT4 is really the only option if you want certain courses that are not in GT PSP (George V Paris, etc). Not to mention tuners!

Finished up the IB & IA license tests, haven't bothered with the S. I keep thinking about taking gold in all the license tests, but I'd rather just enter a series and drive my car of preference.

I started playing GT4 a few days ago. I'm at a little over 15%, and have my IA license.
