Starting Over

I've been playing for 640 game days now and i just recently learned of this website. I've aquired quite a bit of knowledge and im thinking of starting over and using my new found knowledge to conuer. What im looking for is any hints or ideas about starting over and i was also wondering if anyone wanted to join me. Share ideas, paths taken, cars bought, ect...
 
ya i will be starting a new one here in a bit, um, did you want to start over with 100,000 credits with a and b liesences or just 10,000 credits?
 
i started again just recently, and went through some of the european races to obtain the bmw m3 gtr race car and the MERCEDES-BENZ AMG 190E 2.5 16V Evolution II (DTM) '92 (these are my two favourite car) aswell as doing all the special conditions and licences i have only just now started to do the beginner and pro events

10,000 credits is what i had in mind, did you want any certain guidelines or rules that we should follow? When did you want to start?
 
I usually prefer to start by golding early licenses. That gives you a couple cars to start with so you can spend your initial cash on a few upgrades.
 
Well i put my new memory card in and started over leaving my old game sitting close by just in case. I decided im going to accomplish the game in fewer game days then my previous one. Im also going to try to have a very high winning percentage. The first thing i did was get my a & b license which will give me a car and will create a few options for me to take.
 
i started last night with 10,000 credits.
I got my B liecense, and i bought a Mitsubishi Lancer Eco II GSR' 92.
It has 246HP, witha 4WD transmission.
The breaking, acceleration, decceleration and handling are great!
I than after went into the Sunday Cup and took 1st holding very fast lap records for this car.
I spent that money and got the following:

S1 Turbo w/ sports intercooler
Sports Exhaust
Sports Flywheel
Single Plate Clutch
Racing Chip
Sports Suspension

Then after i completed my 4WD Cup and took 1st again.
I highly reccomend take the same path that i did.
Today i will start on other cups to complete. =)
 
Today I achieved both a & b and half of IB. My plan of attack is similar to yours accept i will use the cars won on the license to win the sunday cup. then i will look into buying a subaru
 
if you are going to look for a subaru, look for the lowest style of the WRX, than from there buy sports suspension, racing breaks, and an S1 Turbo w/ Sports Intercooler and you should be set for the 4WD Cup.
 
I got a pontiac concept car from getting one of my licenses i used that to win a few races to save up for my subaru. I got it an oil change and started racing it stock. I took it to the special conditions hall which is were i plan to start. im going to do all of those races first to earn some money and get some cars. One of the things im going to do differant this time is im going to keep all of the concept cars and special cars that i win. Im also going to try not to do the same race twice.
 
When I first started. I had roughly 15.000 Cr because I had little Credits in GT3. So I went and bought the Civic Type-R. Ran a few Sunday Cup races to get some money. Modded the CTR as much as possible, ran the Type-R races (without NSX-R lol) a few times. Saved up, got an Evo 8. Used some leftover money to mod it. Ran 4WD Cup, Turbo Cup, etc. The rest was history... :D
 
I've been playing for 177 game days now and I have 12.7% complete. I started out by doing the special conditions all the way up to hard then stoped because i havent obtain IA yet. So now im doing all of the races and cups that i can with my subaru. Im being quite successful i might add. The only problem i see in my future is what car to drive next.
 
go to HPA motorsport in tuner village, then go to the full model, and get the volksvagen, i mean, 550 hp for only 31,000? thats a deal homie!

i call all of my friends hoime. what do you want me to call them? chunky monkeys? great googily moogily! i could not see myself callin them cunky monkeys. that would be to out of place.

No-one cares what you call your friends. Fact is, you agreed to use English to the best of your ability when you signed up here, not faux ghetto Patois.

If you behave in real life like you do on here it won't matter what you call your friends - no-one will be listening.

I am 7% in now i have been working on my other career in the enduros.
i did my 1/4 time and its allready 11:44! and i have hardly any parts into my lancer.
 
Im at 12.7 % or so complete my subaru is pushing 8.500. I think, its probably lower but my TV is being used so I can't check. I will update this thread with my data very soon.
