State of "duping" cars in GT6 with save files.

Just wondering how GT6 handles backing up your game data, sending a car to another online account then replacing your save file and effectively duping a car.

I hope its gone for good.

It's curious to know if its gone or not, seems like a hard one to cure, they'd need to store which car the user has online, so once you change cars, the save file wouldn't be whats recording that. So when an older save is used/replaces the current save, that 'current car' data would have to remain the same (and not change to the car that you've just sent). Only way to be totally sure is to try to dupe it.

More importantly, I hope the multiple car sending per day, and the credit limit is taken off, that'd be a nice change.

Even if we assume that there are no special cars that cannot be bought in the dealership but can be traded. Yes there is a point and that is to save money.

or better yet, make money, constantly selling the most expensive car you can, again and again

I do not think there is a method for gifting a car yet. If there is I have not saw it anywhere.

Given how difficult it is to make money in the game, yes, there is a plenty of reason to dupe. I've played more than 10 hours and don't have enough money to buy a single GT500 car yet. I'll dupe till the cows come home if it's ever available, but I don't think we'll be seeing it back any time soon.👎

There is no way to gift cars, or anything else, in the game....as of yet anyway. That is the reason no one has tried it yet.
