Steering Lock Question.?.?

Just curious.., what steering lock settings are some of you using for the Xbox and the PS3 for gamepad play? I know ya gotta be careful to not go too low.., but I'm finding the default settings way too high and in some cases what would be considered an extreme adjustment (or over adjustment) is what's needed at times.

i dont know much about the controller but on my dfgt i use 450 steering lock and i only used the controller for a bit of drifting until it annoyed me but it may help you also most cars you do have to play with the steering lock most road cars are good around 25 i have found im not upto race cars yet tho but ive heard they are around 35 not confirmed tho just here say hope this helps

well, I also have steering deadzone to 0 and sensitivity to like 10 or 15....cant remember.

Deadzone 1

PS3, gamepad

Rest is up to tuning the car to get good response.

I was wondering the same thing. You would have to do a 3 point turn on some of the hairpins I guess.

A steering lock of 8 or 9 does seem pretty low. I don't think I can manage using that setting. The most extreme I've gone so far that works is 13. However.., lately my average steering lock settings have been 14-16.

I use a DS3 controller and keep steering sensitivity at 10% and steering lock between 8-12, depending on the car.
