What are some steering wheel options that you guys will be using for GT6? What's the difference in the types of wheels? How do you have it set up? This will be my first steering wheel setup, so I'm just learning about it..
Thanks

If you boost that budget maybe a little bit you can get a Logitech G27, good shifter, extra buttons, clutch pedal. Other then that I'd go for the Driving Force GT, much easier on the budget and works very well.
I have the older version of that wheel. The DFP and the pedals are horrible. You may as well have your feet floating in the air with those pedals because theres absolutely no feel to them at all. I would love to be able to connect my CSR Elite pedals to the wheel because for a cheap wheel its not bad.

Even though I've never used a wheel, I know from friends and my own ears that the DFGT is VERY LOUD.

Also, it doesn't have a clutch, and they are liable to break after a while.

A G27 would be your best bet, even though it's slightly over your budget.

200ish - go with the G27($220USD~) , I just got one for GT6.

Less than 200ish - DFGT ($120USD~), best value.

I have a DFGT and it works very well, big step up from a controller once you get used to it. It does make some noise at times during feed back but to say that it is "VERY LOUD" is an exaggeration at best.

Once I got the DFGT it made me realize how bad the MS Wheel was that i was using on Forza so I splurged and got the Fanatec TurboS so I could play on both consoles with the same wheel. A very good wheel for both games and lots of feedback. Last year I upgraded to the CSR Elite and Club Sport pedals :)

So if you want to keep the price down the DFGT is a good choice, If you want a quiet, smooth, high end wheel then Fanatec is the way to go, the G27 would fall somewhere in the middle.
