Steering Wheels

For those of you you do not know I was once Renisis Power but chose this accont because of my mispelled name. Anyway I just wanted to know if ther are any steering whell pedal setups for GT1 and GT2. Sorry if this thread was ever started I looked and did not see one.

IIRC, steering wheel and pedal configs for GT2 are screwy. If you choose to have steering wheel control, you have to use buttons for gas/brake, If you choose to have pedals for gas/brake you have to use the d-pad for steering. I might be wrong tho, it's a long time ago since I checked this out. Personally, I'll stick with my good ol' dualshock .

Yeah, you too. 👍 Damn, people are showing up all over the place. I got champagne over in the GT1 forum because TMM came back too this week! But um..I forget how old you are. You can have some soda if you're too young.

I'll take the soda I'm only 20 years old But hey most people say I look older than I really am. I dont want to know how I'll look at 40. j/k

i had a steering wheel in gt2 (don't know where that thins is now) but yes i played it with the steer for steering and the pedels for well gas/braking it went well in those days.
i thought i hade a ferrari steer don't know wich brand...

I just got a steering wheel for christmas, and man i was in for a shock. it feels totaly different to a normal controller: your feet do the accelerating and braking, hands do the steering. just not use to it, but I guess it is more like a real car i think - i don't know, I can't drive a car yet.

I don't know if this will help, but I used to use the Ferrari wheel on the PS1, just plug and play worked fine...

One question. Since i currently dont own playstation then im playing the game with emulator. Question of mine is that is there any possibility to play the game WITH steering wheel and have full control of the car?

well steering wheels usually come with pedals too making them more realistic than normal controlers, however they take some getting use to. I suggest starting with a slow car and eventually getting quicker. I would like to help you but I don't know what an emulater is...
