I was wondering, if I were to load this up on the PS3, would my DFGT be compatible with it?

GT2 did support wheels when it was out. If you buy a PS Controller adapter, the game might be playable with one of the Namco specialty controllers or the millions of protocol-compatible steering wheels like it would be if you were playing on a PS2.
