Do you like Nissan Skylines? Do you really like Nissan Skylines? Do you really really really really really like Nissan Skylines??? Sick and tired of only being able to drive 60+ Skylines in one game?

Polyphony Digital presents... THE GRAND NISSAN SKYLINE UPDATE!

Not only do you get to drive every single version of the Nissan Skyline over the years since it was intelligently created.

You get to drive EVERY SINGLE SKYLINE EVER BUILT!

What was that?

EVERY SINGLE SKYLINE EVER BUILT!

So what the 🤬 does this mean?

It means that every single Skyline ever sold to anybody in the world has been recreated in the magical world of Gran Turismo. Literally hundreds of thousands of Skylines will be included in this update. If you own a Nissan Skyline then I guaruntee that PD has (or will) at some point go to your house every night for 3 months and recreate your Skyline on Gran Turismo 5. I honestly can't wait for this update as I'm all too excited to see the joy that it will bring to Gran Turismo fans across the globe.

I really hope pd doesn't see this because get ready if they do it's gonna be a 150 gig update.

This man think's this is totally pointless. How about for pictures (photo taking skill you don't have)?

That jab was totally uncalled for. Actually, I wouldn't mind this feature at all, I've always been anoyed by the fact that cars in the garage have the top down, and then when you race them they have the top up.
As for the photo mode thing, I never use it. My point was that I could see PD implementing something like this instead of fixing the bug that came in with update 1.10. I don't ask for DLC, I just want the game bug free.

As for the Skyline thing, hilarious!

Race them enough times in this condition and they have a heart attack, and have to be taken to the hospital for recovery. During which time you have to train another Bob.

The feature everyone has been waiting for is... The ability to, on convertible cars, race with the top up or top down! (Only for premiums, of course). Totally pointless, but I could see PD do it.

They're gonna bring back a spec points from gt4. collect millions for absolutely nothing in return!

Why? Don't you play like collecting A-spec points? Do you destroy beginner FR challenge with a Viper? IMHO the best feature of GT4 I miss in GT5

Hey actually, I dont think its useless, but, for now on, it would be possible to change the oem brake system to a carbon fiber disc, upgrage the oem brake piston to the 6 cilinders 4 pads, like the gt2 ane on...
But you know what, what would be really useless and probably will feature is:... Interior customization, changing pedal pads with chrome ones, park break with chrome details, different oem panel lights, even neon glowing down the car, and behind, led interior illumination inside the car... Only available for half of the premium cars ( Miatas, Skylines, Eclipses and Honda Integras... ) like the Fiat 500.
Sorry OP fo the two sort of guesses but the last one counts,... Very nice post of yours...

No, that would in fact be quite useless considering GT5 doesn't model brake fade. Add it to the list!





I want to have the optional OEM wheels for every car in the game. And, in the tradition established by the 350Z and Mercedes SLR, I want each optional wheel package to count as a wholly different car. Imagine it: The next patch could take GT5 into the 10,000 car range!

Oh of course they're going to include all of the oldies! I mean those are the cars that got us asking "What the 🤬 is that and why is it in a racing game???" back in the early GT's.

Even the early Prince Skylines will be included!

This thread just proves some people have unrealistic expectations of a game (or of Polyphony Digital) to perfectly suit their idea of what GT5 should have for fun. I think some of these comments are decent ideas, whereas others aren't even smart/funny at all. Everybody wants something different from everybody else, so stop thinking PD will deliver the perfect game that's only for you to enjoy.



Different stock Paints sometimes usually have different interior colors. That was an unexpected feature PD had of one of my ideas of what GT5 would include before it was released.

That actually happened in GT4 with the convertibles

This is my guess: Tyre/Fuel depletion in all races, but with new improved (realistic) tyre wear so that, as in GT4, you never need to pit in non-endurance races anyway.

Here's my guess: adjustable rearview mirror for standard cars thats only available when racing in the cockpit view.
