I have the urge to try and tune an STI for 1/4 mile, but there are too many to pick from and don't have time to buy and try all of them. So can anyone enlighten me, which one would be the quickest?

Get the Subaru WRX STI Spec C '04 from the Used Car Dealership. That is one of the fastest STI drag cars in the game.

Buy the 05 sti and break it in.. or if you feel the need for an evo get the RS 03 from ucd.

You mean the Evo VIII, right? But if he's too lazy to fully break in cars (like me), get the Spec C or the Evo VIII from ucd. Lol the most miles I have on a car right now is 145 haha.

Trust me, its extremely hard to find a low mile 04 or RS from the ucd. That's why I made a car dealership a long long time ago and it helped a lot of people at the time... check my Signature... Damn those were the good times in drag racing online...

Thanks for the info, I did see the 04 spec c near the top of my ucd with around 3200 miles.

PTK....I'll look into the 05 too, thanks.

Not sure I can bring myself to buy an EVO, and I don't know why, guess I never saw a Mitsubishi in real life that I liked :yuck:

That's how many I have and we have both been playing since the beginning... so what's new?

two of my buddies raced subies the other day and the spec c '04 was keeping up with the 22b.. (both decent tuners)

The 22b should be trying to catch up with the 04.. not the opposite lol

it was like that haha, i just thought the 22b would be faster as it gets 552hp and weighs in the low 1100s

i didnt start collecting evos and stis until a couple months back. and im "new"

Well I collected them only in the beginning months and you collected them in recent months...

Yes, I understand, but the 22b doesn't have a good enough launch and the torque is a lot less than the others, however it traps higher than any other...

yeah once you go into further tuning the spec c ends up faster overall, it sounds like it revs higher but that could just be polyphony making a poor sound for the standard cars
