Was going to try a 994pp Porsche Cayman aganist a Audi TT with 996pp on the Nordschleif. but froze up again at 164mph. God, why won't they fix this crap? i'm on ps3 with g-27.

Yeah, last night I also had a freeze in Silverstone '75 with the Carrera RSR NFS.
It's the first time it happens using the DLC cars and tracks, which I was using precisely to avoid it!:nervous:
I wonder how much more time E.A. is gonna take to address this?!:ouch:

I have the game since its launch and had a freeze only a couple of times. First one was on C class camaro on miami track, the other one while doing custom livery. Both of them were before 1.02 patch. Never had a freeze with high speed cars. Just yesterday were driving a works murcie on bathurst for like an hour, and after that stock koenigsegg on nordshleife. No problems at all.

Well actualy there was a little freeze with murcielago. But it lasted only a couple of secs and resulted in my car spinning around right on the starting grid before the race even started:lol: But i believe it's just a bug no more no less.

PS3 and PC at least. Though the PC users suspect that PC freezes are hardware related (certain graphic cards and drivers).

Thanks for that, I was considering to buy an x360, but in the end, my Logitech DFGT will not be compatible and those Fanatech aren't that cheap, expecially if you buy a new wheel not for the wheel itself. So I think I'll pass S2U, those lamers at EA wont adress the freeze bug and I don't want get frustrated because of that, it's a shame such a great game suffers from some rushed and crappy coding. Hopefully I'll jump back on the series with Shift 3 if they'll learn from their mistakes.

I would at least wait for the one patch thats still certainly coming, if I was you. One of the Devs said its already been handed over to EA and passed testing a week or so ago... so only God knows when... but its coming, for sure!
