If you wish to race, you will need to sign up. You can do this by either posting in the thread in the format below or send a PM to myself. Please try to keep in contact and up to date with the thread. Checking at least once a week, usually before race night. Upon signing up, please do so in the following way;

A GTPlanet account is not required, however it is requested and strongly recommended.

Please read all rules before signing up. By signing up you agree to follow all rules and behaviour in a suitable and friendly manner.

You will be required to add True-blue-8 on PSN and join the GTTCC community club in GT6 (#1061823)

Races will take place on a Wednesday night, all times are correct as of BST;

20:30 - Race lobby opens for practice
21:00 - Qualifying
21:10 - Race 1
21:35 - Race 2
21:45 - Race 3
22:00 - CRZ Series finishes, GTTCC practice

Tyre/Fuel Depletion: Fast
Damage: Light
Grip Reduction: Real
Slipstream Strength: Real
False Starts: On

Driving line and ABS are the only driving aids permitted.

The lobby will be public for al and held in the GTTCC club.

Spoiler: 'Race Rules'

The night will begin with an 8 minute qualifying session. Race 1 will last roughly 20minutes, and a mandatory pit stop during a designated window must be completed.

Race 2 and 3 will be 10 minute races, and a pit stop is not required. Grid formation will be determined by reverse results of the previous race. Drivers must not leave the lobby during the race night. If they purposefully quit race 1 or 2 they will be required to start at the back of the grid for race 3.

Spoiler: 'Regulations'

All drivers must use the Honda CRZ Touring Car.

Each car must have an oil change and meet the specifications: 449PP 210BHP 910KG

Body rigidity installation, rim size and brake balance may be adjusted, however all other tuning is prohibited.

All cars must run with Sports Soft tyres only.

The use of Nitro is prohibited.

Drivers must display their number on their car at all times.

Spoiler: 'Success Penalty'

To keep the championship and racing as close as possible, the top 5 drivers will receive a success penalty;

1st: -20BHP (190BHP)
2nd: -16BHP (194BHP)
3rd: -12BHP (198BHP)
4th: -8BHP (202BHP)
5th: -4BHP (206BHP)

The top 5 drivers in the championship will use the penalties for race 1 the following week.

The season will consist of 24 rounds over 6 race meetings;

1. Midfield Raceway
2. Rome
3. Red Bull Ring Short
4. Tokyo
5. Laguna Seca
6. Willow Springs (Big Willow)

Spoiler: 'Points'

Points will be awarded in the following order;

1st - 20pts
2nd - 18pts
3rd - 16pts
4th - 14pts
5th - 12pts
6th - 10pts
7th - 9pts
8th - 8pts
9th - 7pts
10th - 6pts
11th - 5pts
12th - 4pts
13th - 3pts
14th - 2pts
15th - 1pt
1 Point will be awarded to the driver who sets the fastest lap
1 point will be awarded for leading a lap (defined as crossing the start/finish line in 1st place)

Points will be awarded for Qualifying;
1st - 8pts
2nd - 6pts
3rd - 5pts
4th - 4pts
5th - 3pts
6th - 2pts
7th - 1pt

A separate Qualifying trophy will be awarded at the end of the season.

Double points will be awarded for Race 1.

Drivers who DNF will be given points for the last available place. Drivers who purposefully quit will be awarded no points.
1 drop score will be taken from any round.

Spoiler: 'Notes'

If a driver has an incident they wish to report, please send a PM to myself or another steward. The steward panel will then review the decision and come to a decision, handing out penalties or reprimands if required. You will be given 24hrs to appeal if you wish.

Reprimands
If you receive the following penalties on your licence, you will receive the following:

3 Reprimands - Start at the back of grid for Race 1
5 Reprimands - Drive through penalty at the next race
6 Reprimands - 10 point championship reduction
8 Reprimands - Race Ban

Drivers may be penalized for both on and off track behaviour.

All rules are there for a reason. All drivers, including the host, do not receive special credit. Please read all rules before signing up. I was not aware of that rule is not a valid excuse.

Drivers who are AWOL will receive a warning, after this a reprimand. All drivers are expected to notify the host before the race whether they can race or not.

Yet again, another huge thank you to all drivers who contribute.

The GTTCC is a group of people who enjoy clean racing, socializing and having fun. We try to get every driver involved and feel welcome. Any questions or suggestions, don't hesitate to ask.

Suppose the traditional way might be cool. Q, 20mins race 1, then 10min races with reverse grid?

Im just trying to avoid pits due to the issues we're having at the moment.

I know there've been issues, but if we do it the way you propose that should work because as far as I know it's not the first race where the pit glitches are occuring, it's the second or third. Unless I'm wrong... Then ignore me lol 👍

yeah my concern though which is making me doubt it is the open lobby. Although i'm sure we can muddle through that

Probably best just to do it the original way, or with a Race 1 Q and then Rev Grids for 2 & 3.

Original way is what is In op now I believe with reverse championship standings. I think keeping that is more fun as it worked brilliantly season 1
