Ok I've ALWAYS been a GT fan, but the final straw that broke the camels back was Sony screwing up their start new account page: the site has been under maintenance for over 3 weeks now! I was trying to help my brother start a psn account on his ps3.
That along with seeing more bad ass cars in Forza 4 AND having the same mother f'ing wheel set since since 2004's GT4 .

There are other things but I want to get this done so I can start playing.

I finally bought an xbox 360! I is a x360 Slim 4gb. I bought this with plans to upgrade the hard drive that I would pick myself and not the proprietary crap that MS chooses to give us.

Now let me tell you I am one happy fricken camper! I checked out a couple of the dealerships and then went to BMW to see if they have an e36 m3... Then I just laughed, I am 110% glad I bought all this stuff to play FM4!

Um, you have to use the microsoft HDD if you want more then 16gb of space.

It would've been cheaper (and easier) to buy a 250gb console.

Also, I believe you'll have to break the case to fit a different hard drive in.

You can get a cloned 250/320gb HDD from eBay for around $50-75. It's the method people are using with HDDhackr to flash some WD drives.

I've priced it out in the past and it was about the same as buying the HDD yourself and getting a case from dealextreme but it's being shipped from Texas so you'll get it way faster.

Alright guys I'm gonna come clean. I bought the x360 off of craigslist. Apparently the guy I from got it when he bought a laptop, I do remember seeing deals like that. It was legit BNIB.
I then headed to Frys and got suuuuper lucky there was a Western Digital Scorpio black 320gb that was returned but never used and it was on sale when it was first bought. So I walked out with a +$75 hd for $44 and change.
Got home and after a bit of tinkering I now have a 290gb x360 slim. It was 294, but the 360 comes with pre installed games and the FM4 install was about 2.8gb.

So I spent $175 on the slim, $44 (+tax) on the hard drive and retail for FM4.
Its a much longer story but its kinda hard to type on this touchpad I also got today!

Ha it's ok I got a 360 on craigslist that I traded for with an aquarium because my launch day Xbox rrod on me about 2 years ago. Forza 4 made me want an Xbox again but not enough to pay money for it. I haven't played any forza games since 2 and I must say forza really stepped up their game since.

I came from the gt side too but I'm still active with gt5. Having both games is a car lovers dream come true! I still prefer gt5 though but just because I have a g27 and I like the ring on gt games much more.

Yeah, I hear you on playing both. Right now though I took the ps3 out because my LCD tv from 06 has only 1 hdmi.

Noway is it gonna stay out forever though, I put an SSD drive from my computer rig in that bitch!

The registration site has been down for a long time. But you can always create a new account directly from your PS3 console.

I saved about $40 by buying a new 4GB slim and then popping in a new 250GB hard drive. Drive came with the HD case so it was just a matter of sliding it into the slot. And I have an additional 4GB - not that it is really needed though other than a I use it as a backup location for my profile.

I got my 120GB Elite in 2008 for 200 bucks... GameStop and MS had some sort of anniversary deal or something and I knew the guy who's managed the local GameStop store, so I got all of the employee discounts as well

There were allot of wheels added as well as taken away from FM2 & FM3. As far as FM4 goes, it appears to have the same exact wheels available as FM3 from what I have seen.

Good deal! Have you installed Android on your touchpad yet? It's still a bit buggy; but very cool. The keyboard seems to be a lot more responsive on android than WebOS. It keeps missing letters on WebOS for me.

I have been playing GT series since 2007 and when I tried Forza 4 I was really suprised!!

I used to love GT but after all the hype and waiting for 5 I was very disappointed, yeah theyve addressed a lot after the patches but its still not as good as it shudda been, FM4 has taken me back to how I used to enjoy playin the earlier GT's and a definite improvement over 3..which was an awesome game too, cant get enough
