I'm the only one who thought it was...erm....not very good?

It wasn't what one would call remarkable, but you have to give some credit for the effort that was put into it. It must've been a pain in the ass to take all those photos.

^^44 seconds you mean

You guys are right about it not being all that. It is different though.

I stuck this on here to inspire someone to do the same thing, just better.

It has the potential to be made into something amazing.

I'm merely a farmer of creativity sowing my seeds.

It takes a huge amount of shots to get it without lag, but I feel this was probably not the aim of the producer of the clip. For example, the gif below (my own) took around 30 shots to get this tiny little burnout so smooth.

I've been dabbling with some others but it's a huge undertaking to get results that both look great but are without the massive lag between frames.

Surely to get it smooth you need something between 25 and 50 shots per second?

But as has been said, I think the intention would be to create something with a certain look and feel that could only be achieved in GT with 'stop-motion' techniques, not to try and makes a seemless video clip.

I much prefer the Corvette "video"

Well done.

...and it's not just because I have a Stingray as my avatar...

That first vid while it looks like it took a lot of work, looks a bit meh. The drifting Miata RC had me laughing out loud, some very talented individuals playing with this game. The last video of the drifting Aston looks like a hand held spectator cam, pretty cool if you ask me.
