We know Kazunori Yamauchi is the President but how about this man, Kaz Hirai a director of PD.
now he is also one of the top men from sony as well, see below

PD is owned by Sony as the first line of your link says.

Polyphony Digital Inc. is a subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.,

So I fail to see how any of this has been kept quiet.
