I'd wager the M2K Motorsports Ford GT is still faster if they were to run it at the same distance. They accomplished 300mph 3 years ago in a mile & the driver backed out whilst its Motec indicated 306mph & climbing, their video showed it running from 60mph to 300mph in around 20 seconds.

Johnny looks like his climb to 300mph alone was around 36 seconds.

That's the goal, pretty sure the diffuser and little gurney lip that Ford added to the spoiler were designed to do just that.
