stuck in a remote race

I was hosting (from the website using firefox) a nascar 20 minute race and noticed that it seemed stuck on lap 18/25: the race had been running for 30 minutes.

So, i refreshed that page, and the timer reset to a more reasonable time for being on lap 18, but it just kept ticking up.

The PS3 had an error about server connections, but it was not in a race. Exited to GT Life page, several more server connection errors. Saved and shut down the PS3.

The gran-turismo website still thinks I'm in that race, and on lap 18/25. So if any of your drivers are stuck in a race with GTP_hurricanestv, sorry! I'm not sure what to do but wait.

Are you able to start the game again and get back online?

If not, and you're getting the "ID = 1:531", you might have to go into your router settings and change your DNS.
I use Google's. Which are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

If you need help changing your router's settings, give me a shout.


However, if it restarts just fine, forget all I said.

grrr. That looks unfriendly. I'm not near my ps3 or router right now, but I just checked the gran-turismo website, and it still thinks I'm in that race.

Thanks, I'll swap the DNS settings and hope it doesn't make U-verse unhappy. Can I switch it back after I get the issue corrected?
