stuck on driving school 48

I need help with driving school 48. No matter what I do or what settings I use i can't get down to the gold time. I'm about 2 tenths off and this is after hundreds of attempts and looking on youtube. I use the controller. Any help especially with the settings will be greatly received. Thanks

Run the track until you have all gold in circuit experience. It will get you familiar with the track easily enough and then Driving test #48 will be your bitch.

The brake markers are incorrect and make you drive overly cautious. There are a lot of parts that can be driven flat-out without braking and when you do brake, you do a lot of trail breaking to squeeze the most out of the turns. You can also occasionally hook 1 tire over the rumble strips on some turns and then use that grip to round the turn at full speed.

If I had a turn map I could be more specific but I can't seem to find one to reference online.

I haven't done this myself but someone had posted that when you start the race come to a complete stop and back up to beginning of the straight away and then gun it for a faster start speed (the timer doesn't start till you pass a certain point)... It was posted after I spent the weekend getting gold so I can't confirm or deny this... But it makes a lot of sense.

If this is the one with porche on the 2 lap attack, take the tcs down to 2 and move the brake bias up to 4.

As above, drop the traction. Not sure about moving the brake bias that much, but one thing I have noticed is that corner exit is more important than entry, especially at the corner before the fast sweeping corners in the middle of the lap and the last corner.
So use all the track, hit the apex and be on the power early through the exit

I was stuck on this so watched a couple of YouTube vids. Didn't really learn much but noticed that the guy was running a -5 brake bias. Tried it and passed with gold within 3 goes.
