Just a random thread for questions to be asked and answered on.

Is there a limit to the amount of credits and days you can have?

Credits *I think* stopp at 99 million......I read somewhere a long time ago that they stopped at 10 million, but I've been over 17million for about 6 months. They should've put in a few 20mill cars to give you something to shoot for when you've got more credits than you'll ever need.

Days? I dunno.

if you shark the digits for the days # before 0, i think they go to 13500. but they go down alot after you do anything.
as for $$, i have no clue. GT3 goes into the trillions, though.

Hmmm. Well, I'll never make 99 million credits and I won't make that amount of days. I'm on about 760 and I'm almost finished the game.

The day limit is 65535 days (about 180 years!). Thats FFFF in hexidecimal. I don't think anyone will actually approach that limit for a very long time...

Hmm, even if you spent 2 minutes between each Max Speed Test...x 65535, that equals...

131070 minutes = 2184.5 hours = 91.03 days = About 3 months straight of Max Speed Tests only.

Imagine 5 lap races at Rome Ciruit: about 7 minutes each. Figure on 10 months to complete the task. Forget about sleeping, eating, working, or having a life. And you'd never get to post on GTP...

10 months of GT2 straight is a bit too much. You would have mastered every aspect of the game - driving, tuning, buying, selling, modifying and anything else. :D

I wonder if what he limit is for races. Since the GT500, GT300, and the GT World Championship....all 5 race series.....all count as only 1 day.

Of course, you can spend hours and hours (days and days are more like it!) on the license tests, and a single day will not pass.

Oh, and the credits will go over 99,999,999 but the readout won't show that "9th digit" too well. Unless you need a garage full of Escudos, you hardly need half of that at any time, anyhow.
