Look at this... Just a few of the threads concerning this event i could be bothered to copy and paste:

Now before I get the standard state the obvious responses ( 'hurr drive better' ) I put it to any one of you to drive this event clean! Seriously.
I'm not a prologue virgin, i just decided to delete my save file and start again. I've really been enjoying it, even A-8 suprisingly. And before I unlocked s-class i could manage bronze in this a little ahead of p4. But i love GOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLDDDD!!!!!
It got me thinking about online players and certain nationalities having their little driving traits. I know I'm sterotyping but if you see a japanese driver in your rear view mirror, you'll be forgiven for expecting a punt or two. Does this mentality hold true with polyphony developers too? It can't do. Can it?
There's no doubt in my mind that to get gold in this event you have to be a little bit dirty. I can get to within inches of 2nd place now I'm tuned, but 1st place is still 3 and a half godamn seconds away! 3 AND A HALF!
I refuse to drive like a maniac and punt my way around the track, or cut corners and go grass'ward, but if the event has been designed in such a way that this is the only way to gold, what kind of track etiquette is that teaching people, in persuit of gold standard no less. Criminal!
I like to race clean, i like to race depending on talent instead of assists ( this is labeled as a simulator after all ), and i like to win! This is the last bronze left in all events and I MUST achieve silver at worst.
If it wasnt for the rolling road block coming out of the bus stop i'd have it! I cant for the life of me get there any quicker though. Arrrgh!
end rant
