I need help tuning my impreza for the gear ratios? I want gear ratios for the 1/4 mile. Can anybody help me?

ahh yes.....

You can stick on the WRX STi gear ratios. First, get the Racing Tranny if you haven't already.

Go into the gear settings and set the gears to these:
3.636 max speed 41mph
2.375 max speed 62mph
1.761 max speed 83mph
1.346 max speed 110mph
1.062 max speed 141mph
0.842 max speed 186mph
3.500 Final Drive

I'm not too proud of my 1/4 mi times, hehe I don't even know how fast my 1/4 time is with my 22B. But these are great stock gear ratios.

for some reason my gear ratios are not going to the numbers you posted. Maybe if you give me a auot set number you used that would be useful. Thanks for the gear ratios.

Auto setting....yea, the auto setting .... I think mines was like.....23 or 33....keep moving the auto setting higher or lower and plug in the gears.

HOW do i tweak those settings i see that stuff all over but where can i use it?

When you set the auto setting, that resets all the gears again so you'll have to go back and put the gears in. Set the auto setting to where the 6th gear ratio is near the ratio I gave ya, 0.842. If you can put that ratio in, then you're close, if not, try setting the autosetting elsewhere.

zmatt: You have to have Racing Tranny to be able to set the gears. The gears are basically from the WRX STi (JDM). So IF you were to buy the WRX STi (JDM) and power it up, there's no need for racing tranny because the gear setup and ratios on the OEM/factory car is good enough.
