Subaru Impreza Help!

Hey can any body help me with the gearing on the car, Iam trying to get 8 seconds on my qaurter mile time but i just cant find the right tunning if anybody can help id really aperciate it :).
 
Whats your current gearing on the Impreza, and what times are you running with it at the moment. Also what model and year is it. Tell me that and I'll think about fiddling around with it some. I'm not garaunteeing it to get into 8 seconds, but I could probablly get you close. Try messing with the Nitrous and set your TCS to 1, and see if that stops some wheelspin. From what I've heard about Impreza's they have alot of acceleration. So throttle modulation and TCS at 1 may help.

I drove an 8.149 with this setup. Not so fast as I thought :indiff:. The Impreza '02 is much faster, I drove a 7.895 with it :dopey:.
But it's fast enough to beat the Polyphone Digital F1 :).

He just gave a basic setup and said it would go deep into the 8's which it did as you proved. Take a look at the Spec-C list, you can get HEAPS quicker. :mischievous:
 
the spec c is so fast it has its own drag list! That should give you SOME indication on which impreza is good for 1/4 miles....

Team vector: dont be so ungrateful! Why dont you post the settings that you got on your 7.9 run??? I would LOVE to see some proof of that by the way......
